Behind every independent business or maker is a real person, often a family, sometimes a small team, and a community that depends on it. When you need something custom made — hats for a team, shirts for an event, signage for a shop — that order can go to a business built by someone who cares about getting it right, not just a queue in a system.
MadeBySmall exists to make that easy. You shouldn't have to know the difference between embroidery, screen printing, DTF, sublimation, or engraving to get something made well. You shouldn't have to track down and vet independent businesses on your own, either. We do the legwork: you tell us what you need, and we help connect you with independent businesses that can make it.

Small business doesn't mean small capability. The MadeBySmall network includes home-based makers working from garages and small studios, local custom-product shops, and established production businesses — serving customers locally or shipping nationwide.
Where we are today
MadeBySmall is early. Right now, our team manually reviews every project a customer submits and every small business or maker that joins the network, and we work by hand to connect the two. We're doing it this way on purpose: it lets us learn what customers actually need made, and which independent businesses are ready to make it, before building anything more automated.
